SMT meets
Gilbert is a degreed mechanical engineer and educator/Coach and a graduate of The Univerity of Texas. He is currently working in the private sector in technical sales management. He has 18 years of experience in coordinating athletic events and athletes.
Gilbert is a USATF "MASTER'S" certified official and has officiated at events including the 2008 USATF National Junior Olympic Championships, 2008-12 MIAA Regional Championship, 2008-11 Kansas State HS Cross Country Championships and the 2006-2011 KU Relays.
Gilbert is also a USATF Level I certified coach and is the coach for the Heartland Youth Track Club and Heartland XC Club (USATF Club #4040).
