I was looking up where my javelin thrower at Northwest is ranked nationally and this led me to start looking at each event to see who is ranked highly nationally from Missouri. I started compiling a list and thought I'd share it here. I decided to cut it off at athletes who are ranked in the top 30. I have broken it up by girls and boys. The girls are heavily represented by javelin throwers, which is interesting considering the event has only been a state event for three years. The boys have quite a few jumpers and also two number ones.
