Nyekuola Gai (Lexington) cleared 5-4 in the high jump at the Hastings Invite on April 30, improving from her previous best of 5-0 set in April 2026. The mark ranks #15 in Nebraska and set a school record for Lexington High School. Gai placed 2nd of 6 competitors.
Jack Glaser (Bishop Neumann, Wahoo) ran 2:05.83 in the 800 meters at the North Bend Central Invite on April 28, dropping from his previous PR of 2:22.66. The sophomore ranks #136 in the state and #19 among sophomores. Glaser finished 3rd of 18 competitors.
Harrison Thiel (Mt. Michael Benedictine, Elkhorn) clocked 10:22.91 in the 3200 meters at the Mike Lehl Invite on April 28, improving from 10:58.64. The sophomore ranks #92 in Nebraska and #17 among sophomores. Thiel also set a PR in the 800 meters, running 2:17.36 to better his previous mark of 2:18.48.
Oliviya Travis (Millard North) ran 12.68 in the 100 meters at the Metro JV Meet on April 28, improving from 13.24. The mark ranks #83 in the state and Travis placed 2nd of 61 competitors. She also set a PR in the 200 meters with 26.79, bettering her previous time of 27.11.
Hanna Mader (Northwest, Omaha) ran 26.25 in the 200 meters at the Hastings Invite on April 30, improving from 28.38 set in April 2026. The freshman ranks #72 in Nebraska and #9 among freshmen. Mader won the event, placing 1st of 22 competitors.
Henry Kleppinger (Lincoln North Star) ran 2:02.76 in the 800 meters at the LPS Championship on April 29, improving from 2:12.52 set in March 2026. The sophomore ranks #83 in the state and #8 among sophomores. Kleppinger placed 6th of 16 competitors.
