First Take Of Colorado Simplot Entries: Girls

Lina Corrales will toe the line for the 800 at the Simplot Games this weekend.

There are a lot of Colorado entrants for the Simplot Games, so here's a quick rundown of some of the state's top athletes, and what event they're competing in.

60 - Rest assured, Arria Minor is on the start list. So her stellar 2018 indoor campaign will continue. Additionally, Dajaz Defrand is on the list here, along with Jaiden Paris

60 hurdles - Colorado No. 2 Paris is slated to race, along with No. 5 Delaney Smith

200 - Minor must be tired of winning this event, because she is not on the start list.

400 - But she (Minor) is here. Keep an eye on this race as I'm counting on her chasing a new US No. 1 mark (53.20) here. Colorado's No. 2 Kyairra Reigh is also in this race, along with Monika Williams.

800 - Colorado's distance runners must be tired of hibernating, because there are a slew of top-tier athletes here: Abby ScottMarlena PreighLina Corrales, and Shannon King are all in this race.

Mile - Ditto here. Madi KenyonIsabella Bowland, and Madeleine Burns will open their 2018 track campaigns here.

3,200 - Caitlin McConnell and Addi Iken will toe the line.

Triple Jump - Colorado No. 2 Chian DeLoach is on the start list here and will look to close that gap between her and Sydney Larkin.
